By the way, for anyone who didn't understand my comment: "that magnificent survey which your old club produced, from memory about 43 years ago" - I was referring to the the LUSS Bar Pot and Flood Entrance Pot survey from (I think) 1980, which is a speleocartographical masterpiece and even comes with an explanatory booklet.

(I was experimenting with an Alfred Wainwright style cave topo. rough, obviously. Interesting how what you remember compares to a survey and other people's recollection).
