the little symbol beneath your name if you fill in your birthday - is that the chinese year of the ... symbol thing? i appear to be a rat...

...jut wondering how many 'year of the' s there are - can two people born in different years have the same animal?

if not i guess they'd have to start thinking of some weird and wonderful animals...year of the nosebear

So you're a rat. Half the people I cave with shift along crawls at the speed of a Bog Rat, the other half smell like them. :hyper:

Yep - they repeat every 12 years.

But you have to remember that the Chinese New Year doesn't coincide with the Western one and so you may not be what you think you are.

Googling about found the following:

The Chinese New Year always falls between Jan 21 and Feb 21 so if your Birthday is outside of these dates then the list Titch98 reproduced will easily tell you your Chinese Zodiac Sign

Otherwise there is a Western-Chinese Calendar Converter which will give the zodiac sign of your chosen date:

Also animals do vary e.g. found one site which referred to 2003 as the year of the Black Sheep :!:
