Do any of these type of sinkholes have passages associated with them, or are they just like general mass subsidence ?

When it comes to golf, I always remember the wise words of Atilla the Stockbroker, who defined it as " being dull with malice aforethought".

Was it Mark Twain who said 'Golf is the best way to spoil a walk in the country yet devised'?

Or, as one of my former employees (a well known caver and regular poster to this forum as it happens) once said to a client who mentioned they were leaving the office early for a round: "golf is for losers'.
