You know a squeeze is tight when......

Haha, know the feeling. Make it bigger! (You know how  ;) ...)

That seems to be the correct answer to me MMilner

So far as I'm concerned all squeezes are simply digs that haven't been finished properly.

I would be worried if i was stuck in a tight whole and somebody got lube out!!! Thatd be enough to get me through!!!!!

"Lube"? Luxury! Jim Eyre once encouraged a stuck caver out of a squeeze using the gentle application of a carbide lamp flame!

...you find Indiana Jones' hat left behind.

Or my wellies.... casing point the trick in Swan Dike, probably the tightest/akward thing I have ever done. My Wellies are still on the other side of it. I won't go back for them.

Blackshiver: you were remarkably restrained- you're struggling, someone points a video camera at you, then tells you're doing fine when you're feeling buggered....  I'd have told him to put the f'ing camera down and give me a f'ing hand up !

Unfortunately it was me holding the camera......give me credit, I put it down when I realised we would not make it back to the pub before closing time.

Your chest is stuck in a vertical boulder choke on the pushing trip beyond Sump 5 in Daren and your colleague genuinely wants you to bite down on a detonator as he feels that you have no chance of escape....

You end up having to call out your CRO colleagues in the middle of their 50 year celabratory dinner and they find you nigh on hypothermic in nothing but a pair of grundies!

Never forget the photo of the poor chap at the back of 'race against time' missing bits of flesh off his chest

When James *stops* swearing!
(caver here, he turns the air blue a lot...if his mouth stops running /then/ you get scared!)

----

When Mark does his little giggle!
(always know that will be fun, for alternate definitions of 'fun' - be extra cautious if he claims it is a 'shortcut'!)

----

When you have to get naked to get through!
(I may or may not have had to do this...)

Squeeze up into Green Lake Grotto, Withyhill Cave. Now out of bounds to many of Mendip's over 50 cavers. Will be giving it a go next Friday. :-\ And no, the girl in the photo could not get in there.

Yes. A squeeze is only fun when its wet and too tight to keep your helmet on.

 can't see the appeal of this! Certainly wouldn't call it fun, more a PITA...  :-\
