Quick query...anyone heard anything about problems/collapse etc - someone mentioned it to me and we're thinking of doing the through trip soon...if anyone knows anything...will save me having a look at the downstream end first...

The only possible problem I know of is at the top end, namely who bought the opencast and the surrounding lands at auction on Monday and do they mind people in PVC wandering around up there?

There are several O. S. proven footpaths across said plot. Attire PVC, or not; is irrelavent.
access is, in my own personal and private (bar this and a few other open websites), always open to private and public discussion.
My opening gambit will be an invite to a through-trip.
during which access may be discussed in polite and informal settings.

No idea as of yet Ric, though when ATAC did King Mine a fortnight back there was a farmer and his family looking over the land so I'm hopeful it's one of the adjoining farm has bought it. If I find out I'll let you know....
