I accept that the News page is out of date and agree with langcliffe that no page is a better option than an out of date one. It really is a lot of work to keep these sites up to date and I have not been giving it my attention as We are currently trying to relocate the site on our new server and also carry out a revamp. Some stuff may well fall through the gaps.

On a secondary point, it is trivial to ensure that the "date last updated field" is automatically changed whenever the page is updated, so it really should reflect the last update.
That is exactly what happens so i know the date does reflect the last update.

I know Mr Whitelackington has very little to do in his life except to trawl the web in an effort to point out other people's errors and omissions (when he's not posting links to the BBC news site or reproducing tabloid headlines that is), so perhaps he could trawl through the 150 or so pages of the BCA site and point out any other "issues" with the site. Thanks.  (y)

 He won't do that. It's too useful a task!

Couldn't someone tell him that apart from the page he found, the rest of the site is fine and up to date?

He probably knows that.

He probably had to spend some time trying to see if there was anything to moan about.
