Tool for colour blind android users
« on: November 01, 2012, 08:50:06 pm »
A friend of mine is colour blind and developed this free android app to solve the problem for him and others

Perhaps you can modify surveys?

Fixes the problem we Color Blind people have - when people make diagrams with colors we cannot easily tell apart. (Like Graphs, charts, maps etc.)

You get the electronic image onto your phone, then you can step through the existing colors, and change any of them you want to new colors of your choice that you can discriminate easily.

When you have finished you can send the image anywhere you want - at the full original resolution.

It works on any image you have saved to your gallery - so it could come from an email attachment, a download from the browser, or similar.

This is a pilot version and is FREE for a limited period only to get user feedback.

So PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE give us your comments and suggestions via Google Play or our website.

Why choose this app in particular?

1) Because most other apps for color blind people use the phone's camera - which doesn't work very well because photos have thousands of colors and shades in.

2) Because color blindness is different in each person, and it is better for you to choose the new colors yourself - rather than the app trying to choose automatically.
