Secret Britain (inc. OFD)
« on: April 08, 2015, 09:12:18 pm »
Probably been posted elsewhere, but hey ho.
It's on as I type, no doubt on I-player at some point soon, it features a dash of caving (so it should being in the Brecon Beacons)..
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02mr48z - for a short clip.
Awkward, grumpy sod.

Watching it now, decent piece but it'd be nicer if they focused more on the cave rather than the presenter complaining about how much she hates caving!

Episode 2 visited the Tan Hill Inn & the ancient coal mine shafts nearby, plus Lake Gormire in the North Yorks Moors, where the water flows underground.

Despite what it says above, the programme is still available on iplayer for another week (if you find it through the A to Z listing).

& Ellie Harrison's take on the day (she does apologise for the filming taking far longer than planned although anyone who's done it before will be used to that):
