• Help us work out the future of the Inglesport Café

We've been trading since 1977 and next year will be our 50th anniversary.

The café has been part of that for a long time, running quietly in the background for years, and we don't think it always gets the credit it deserves as a genuine community hub. But we need to be straight with you: the café is under real pressure, and we’re not sure of the best path forward.....

J. W. DUCK

Jack passed away in April of 1980 after a long illness. He was the last of the pioneer cavers who could claim to have caved with Balch, Baker and Troup etc. A noted cave surveyor, he was, in 1934, a founder member of the Wessex Cave Club, and later became their Vice-President, and an Honorary Member. He was also a very active member of the Mendip Nature Research Committee.

We wish to express our sincere condolences to his family.
