Olympus have announced a new Pen compact system camera E-PL9 https://www.olympus.co.uk/site/en/c/cameras/pen_cameras/pen/e_pl9/index.html
Looks quite nice and adds a few bells & whistles over the previous version, and better in body image stabilisation, but still the same 16MP sensor. The accessory port (previously at back under the hotshoe) has now gone vs. E-PL8 the OM-D EM1 Mk1 for example, so can't use the MAL-1 macro lights or an external viewfinder for example. Not likely to be an issue for most people though. (Also missing on the Pen-F and OM-D EM1 Mk2).
I'd hazard a guess that from an ergonomic view the 14-42 zoom or 17mm f1.8 or 2.8 lens could be a good match.
Probably not on my shopping list as already use the Pen-F and OM-D EM-1 Mk1 mainly due to the built in viewfinders, and macro light port on the latter.
