Thailand caving? (Travelling South East Asia)

So I'm currently travelling in South East Asia and unfortunately missed the opportunity to do any real caving in Vietnam. In Cambodia at the moment but will be in Thailand in two weeks time and was wondering if there would be anyone who might be willing to take me in for a few days to get some caving in? Unfortunately I don't have any proper kit with me but do have enthusiasm and hopefully some sort of personality to make up for it. If anyone is doing exploration out there already or if you could point me in the direction of who to contact that would be great!

For a bit of context I've been caving for 2 years now with ULSA and went on CUCC's Austria expedition last summer.

Sorry if this isn't posted in the right place and thanks for any help!

Try contacting John Spies at Cave Lodge. It is a great place to hang out and there are amazing caves nearly.

Cave Lodge in Mae Hong Son is probably the best place to find some caving trips, but as it is the start of the rainy season it may be too wet for the big river caves. I haven't heard of any expeditions planned before the end of the year and there are very few active ex-pat cavers.

Send me a PM or get in contact via https://www.thailandcaves.shepton.org.uk/ and I will send you some ideas of where to go and the e-mail addresses of a couple of cavers who might be in country.
