Thanks for posting that Mike, very interesting! It now appears the restoration of the Blencathra to Keswick footpath, wiped out in the 2015 "Desmond" flood, is going ahead now they've got the funding sorted. Great to see Ian Tyler, he of the sadly-missed Keswick Mining Museum, looking so well. He's a great character, and his various books on the mines thereabouts are excellent reads.

Thanks, I'd have missed this otherwise.
Keswick & surroundings must be one of my favourite spots. Well, we spend nearly all our hols there!
