This is my last issue as Editor as I am stepping down at this month's AGM after 5 years in the job. I would just like to take this opportunity to thank all those cavers from the Peak District and further afield who have helped me enormously by submitting articles, photographs and suggestions.

Thank you Mike - you've done a cracking job over your five year tenure. I don't cave anywhere near as much as I'd like in the Peak District at the moment, mainly due to being involved in so many projects here in the Dales. I really enjoy reading the DCA Newsletter to catch up on what folk are up to and have always been grateful for the efforts which people like you put in to keep us informed.
