A message from Dave Ryall: 'As you may have heard, Scoff wrote his memoirs up, and I?ve been working (with help) for some time on getting the book into print.
We are having a book launch / cavers piss-up to sell copies (see above for details).
Scoff had friends all over apart from his own clubs, and it could be they?d like a copy too.
It?s a right good read, and the BPC has paid for the print run (300 initially) as a donation, so all the money from sales can go to the hospice which looked after Scoff' (Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice)
One of the best and most entertaining Hidden Earth lectures I ever went to was by Scoff and Dave
I'm sure 'Bumbling in The Dark' will be an excellent read - hope to see you at the book launch or if you can't make it order your copy afterwards be e-mailing bumbling@gmx.co.uk.
