Bull Pot Farm - power outage

Please don't come to the farm for the time being. Something got struck by lightning last night and we don't have power, therefore we don't have water or flushing toilets. I'll update once it's back up.

The power people are working on it.

Thanks but the surge has blown the fuse box cover off the wall along with some plaster so it's not just a case of power being restored to the area because we may have electrical damage indoors too. An electrician is going to look at it but we don't know when. So I will update when it's fixed.

There were at least two massive lightning strikes somewhere just to the SW of Ingleton. Lots of people over many square miles woken up.

It is mostly sorted now thanks to hard work by skilled people.

We don't have water supply to the toilets but we are managing fine with buckets from the stream. Everything else is back to normal for the time being.
