I'm sad to pass this news on from Sub Brit - Mike
We have heard with great sadness of the death of Paul Sowan last night. Paul joined Subterranea Britannica in 1975 and served as our Chairman for almost 25 years. On retiring as Chairman he was awarded Honorary Membership.
Paul's knowledge, enthusiasm and approachability will be greatly missed; many members will have their own memories of his good company on trips and visits.
We will communicate any funeral details as they become known. A full obituary and appreciation will be included in the next edition of Subterranea.
