A Xmas pressie idea.

A few years ago I was caving in the Dales with Boyd and I was in Inglesport looking at John Gillet's other book "Of Caves and Caving". It looked good (and was indeed excellent), so I bought it.

I went outside and saw Boyd talking to someone in a car which had stopped. I asked Boyd who it was and he said it was an old friend of his called John Gillet. And there on the first page it mentions Boyd. A bit of a coincidence?

Despite his advancing years, John regularly gets underground as an active member of Crewe. And he's a very interesting bloke to cave with - tells a good story, as his books will reveal!
