WHO WON THE 1ST OF THE FABULOUS FIVE INGLESPORT/RAB COMPETITIONS??
Many thanks to everyone who entered this caption competition
The Shortlist (which was a tough decision, lots of great captions - clever folks, cavers....):
1) Cavematt - One member of the team was quickly eliminated from "The Floor is Lava".
2) PeteHall - With the disto broken, the team resorted to measuring the passage dimensions using the standard unit of "caver".
3) Cantclimbtom - After an immense push, the rift widening team finally managed to fix that troublesome squeeze
4) Rhys - The frequent argument on Scout beginner caving trips over who would lead the way and who would be at the back was resolved by everyone
progressing along the passage at exactly the same time.
5) masrat - somebody didn't yell rope free.
6) wellyjen - Amazing time lapse photo of streamway downcutting.
7) cfmwh - Sid didn't have the nerve to tell them that he'd forgotten to load the film into the camera...
8) Firestone - Opinion in the group was divided as to whether it was a false floor.
9) Karstic - CIRQUE sans SOLEIL, The Underground Tour, Summer 2025
10) Smelia - while a normal group photo would be taken side by side, cavers remember they have a second axis to work with
