Polperro mixed mine

Is on aditnow, but nowhere near the village of that name - it's on the north coast & surrounded by sites called polberro, so is it a spelling mistake?

Almost certainly a spelling mistake. No mines around Polperro until you get to the St Austell Granite. I think several mines made up the Polberro Group, so it's highly likely your Mixed Mine is one of those.

If it is indeed "polberro" then it's very near me in St Agnes, and there's been some recent exploration by the Carbis Bay Crew in this area that you can check out on Facebook :)
