    An informative discussion

Recently there was long thread about the BCA. I can now post possible answers to some of the questions, such as "Why is the BCA still raising membership prices when there is a significant amount still left in its coffers?"

Goyden pot blockage

On a trip today with my dad in Goydon, and we were forced to abandon a round trip due to a huge plug of flood debris blocking the entrance end of Cap Left crawl. Looked like it could take some effort to dig out. Also contained a multitude of pheasant corpses, so mind the smell!

We have to resurvey that soon so it will have to be cleared. Usually looks worse than it actually is apart from all the dead stuff that is.
It is quite surprising that with all that timber around the entrance the crawl itself always stays pretty clear.

I think the shere force of water going trough that entrance crawl stops that, I have seen the amount of force going through that and its quite large compared to the other passage.
