Water Levels?

Whilst I'm aware that most of the UK is presently sinking under the waves LOL...just wondered what water levels were like in S Wales at the minute...down for the weekend and planning what trips are feasible...

Saturday looks a drier day than Sunday but as ground saturated everywhere likely to respond quickly to rainfall I guess...

We seem to have had a few days of more settled weather so levels ought to be dropping a bit, but as you rightly recognise, the ground is water logged so any fresh rain will run off very quickly. You might be lucky and get away with a sporty wet trip somewhere, but I would probably plan a dry alternative! Play it by ear...

Water levels were quite low at our dig in the Forest of Dean last night, but the roof was quite drippy.
