    Hello Ben, If it's mining you want then try finding out about Cornish miners through Aditnow. If you are after caving then the two main clubs in Devon and Cornwall would be  Devon Spelaeological Society or Plymouth Caving Group both have websites so just google them.  most caving in the area...

    Thanks to robjones & ptpeaty. I have had a look at some 'historical' posts 2005-2010 from Gus Horsley and NigR.  Sounds like frequent diversions caused by sediment and washed-in vegetation are a feature of both caves.
