I have never ever said its a c**tplaces gig, its a CSCC key (so any CSCC club can do work) I am leading/was asked to lead the project from the c**tplaces side. On the 1st and second working day we had WCC members attending. What's important is the work gets done, dont lets let rivalry damage the important work.

I accept the way I worded it may have caused confusion to a few however I am sure you have to understand that events cant be made too public to restrict random crazy people turning up and becoming a car jackers pick and mix. Thats the main reason to the events for registered members only.

Why Graham have you worded it so its my fault. It is not, why would I post an event but say your not allowed unless your on another forum. Thats Silly, don't you think? Me think's Graham your talking the usual Guano.

Anyway, I hope you have a really good turn out. I am planning some similar mine-tidying. I don't expect I will have to advertise for helpers though - we have plenty of willing hands available. As for Graham, I expect he's a really nice guy who in reality is much more cuddly than the ogre you make him out to be. A bit like Darkplaces, I dare say.

No glory in Compton martin mine, just mendip tan, so its a thankless task when you can go and find yourself a titan.

If Graham turned up he could work in the lower more unstable areas.

I hope you can still see the marks in the floor where the tramway sleepers used to be. I have a photo taken early 80s in which they were very obvious. Only real cavers would have the fearless constitution to go where timid mine explorers fear to tread, such as lower unstable sections.

I can afford to step away from being single but seem unable to shrug off being Billy Nomates with the femalers. I wash. I smile. I'm clearly still missing something.
