Admire the work of evolution in this image. After thousands of generations living in total darkness the pointless eyes have become sightless, no more than two residual bumps.

Gaping Gill?
No. Interestingly I spent (wasted?) about fifteen minutes to get this or other possible images. I was working very fast on a number of possibilities and most images were absolutely hopeless, with no possibility of getting to the answer from the image. The only decent image, which I nearly posted, was for Gaping Gill. But I settled instead for the image I posted which will I think seem logical when the solution is known.

Death's Head? On the grounds that the closest match on an image search was a Mongolian Death Worm.
Maybe there is a reason for that!

Think evolution, taxonomy, phylum. Look closely at the image, there is a clear indication of the classification. But in any case you have the key words, albeit in different places. All you have to do is arrange them.

I first heard about this cave from my mother more than sixty years ago as she went there during the Second World war with my father when they were courting. It is possible to be cut off there I understand.

Worms Head Cave?
Yes, well done. Your turn now.

(The image hints at segmentation of the body, characteristic of the phylum Annelida = worms. The vestigial eyes were just a chance result, but appropriate for a type of animal evolving in the dark.)
