Have you dreamed of owning your very own van?! No more careful packing of the car boot, just throw it all in! What’s not to like!
VW CADDY MAXI, 2 owners, 2012 plate.
Good points..
It’s had 3 injectors, cam belt and water pump, starter motor and new springs etc recently, new wheel bearings and discs and calipers not that long ago and if it’s needed stuff doing it’s had it done.
It has Hello Kitty stickers on the back window.
It’s not been a “trade van” so hasn’t had a particularly hard life.
Fancy touchscreen radio with CarPlay
Roof rails
It has Hello Kitty stickers on the back.
It can come with a diesel night heater and the wiring and split charge relay so all it needs is a battery and it can be like a heated changing room!
It drives well in all gears and is very car like.
Did I mention the sticker?
Long MOT until late this year and decent all climate tyres on front.
The less good…
230k miles, however VW engines are spaceship miles reliable.
It’s a 12 year old van. It has a couple of rust spots on the wheel arch and a couple of stone chips that have rusted a bit. Not knackered by any means but also not showroom.
There’s some little dents where it got up close and personal with my parents apple tree but they’re only very small. (The dents. The tree is quite big. If you buy it you can have an apple)
It has a rattle which I think is just a drop link. £15 to replace them.
It has hello kitty stickers on the back window.
Located Harrogate/Dales.
£1250 or somewhere not hilariously far off and this iconic piece of German engineering could become your treasured family heirloom. Or you could just have a cheap at modern prices van that should be good for a fair few more miles.
PM for more pics or details and help save my relationship with the current Mrs A by not having it sat on her drive until I use it as a chicken coop.
