I have half a dozen issues of this technical diving magazine, dating from the late 80s and into the 1990s and produced by Mike Menduno. This publication is said to have "helped foment the technical diving revolution".

Quite a few are now available online via this link: https://aquacorps.online/

The original magazines are surplus to my requirements; if anyone would like them post here or PM me. Then we can figure out how to get them to you.

Is this a legit site or has it been hacked?

I have the very latest version of Chrome (as at March 24th 2025 release) but I'm greeted with a page (instead of the website webpage expected ) telling me my Chrome is out of date and inviting me to click something to update Chrome. It's an Https webpage that has a form linking back to http. It smells wrong.

Is the link safe?

Thanks for flagging that up Tom. Simple answer; I don't know. Best leave it alone.

JAA - sorry, a fellow CDG member got in before you (just)!

I've just opened it in Firefox under Linux in a secure container. It looks fine there. Fine too in Google Chrome. So unless there is some sophisticated check on the operating system, I don't know why you've seen suspicious behaviour. Possibilities are your DNS lookups being intercepted or something unwanted at your end.

I get the site as expected, but Malwarebytes reports that it blocked malware from rednosehorse.com which is reported to be malicious. So unless you have suitable live malware protection I would advise against it. If you have a contact for the site (eg, on paper) you could let them know.

The person who would like these half dozen journals is Mendip based.

Will any Mendip cavers be in the Dales (ideally Clapham area) over the next weekend or two, who could drop them off at the Wessex in due course?

How about a Dales caver who will be in the Mendips soon? I should be able to collect them next weekend, and deliver them at Easter.

Many thanks for the offer Ladymud - but they were collected by someone else yesterday and will no doubt be speeding down the M5 as I type!
