Big cairn above Clapham Bottoms

Does anyone know about the large cairn beside the Long Scar track? It's a few years since I was that way and there's always been an old cairn there that looked like this

Now it's grown into a much taller and more prominent 'proper job'

We walked around but couldn't see any memorial plaque. It's quite well done, not just piling stones up.

I believe it was built up - stone by stone - by various Clapham residents over recent years and - for one friend at least - it has become a memorial to a lost partner.

Thanks, Andy. I've told folks I don't want much. Somewhere they can go to remember me and weep quietly. Something like this would do
