Due to upgrading I have the following for sale;

Canon 400D SLR.
In as-new condition, with the standard 18-55mm Canon lens. Spare (non Canon) battery.  Comes with Camera Armor; custom made rubber cover to make camera more splash and mud resistant. Also, Canon battery grip which allows 2 batteries or AA cells, plus gives additional controls when shooting in portrait
Complete with strap, software, leads, manual etc as supplied new. ?250 the lot

Canon G9 compact.
Ideal lightweight caving camera, full manual control, zoom lens, built in flash. Includes lens adaptor to allow filters to be fitted.
Has very slight mark on lens. This does not show on photos and is almost invisible; was caused by a speck of grit on the lens when closing the lens cover.
Spare battery, strap, software, manual etc as supplied new. ?125

I think it's a very brave and commendable move from Canon to drop out of the megapixel race and go for quality; seems they have listened to users wishes.  :clap:
Subjectively, noise on the G10 seems to be improved over the G9  ;) and the swivel screen doesn't bother me. Also the G11 is VERY expensive and G10s can be had cheapish (and cheaper once the G11 hits the streets?). Will be interesting to see real (cave) world results with the G11.
Mick; don't hold your breath, unless my boss gets generous with bonuses again!  :bow:
