No other bidders on the ?30 one! Yippee!!! A very nice book, 455 pages, bit of wear to the spine edges and some foxing, not too bad really for something that's 144 years old (1874 publishing date). The thing I like about some of these old books is the superb quality of the illustrations. In some ways good old analogue engravings seem nicer, or perhaps more comforting, than modern digital line drawings to look at (there's even colour pictures of some found jewellery). Of course there may be some ultimate accuracy issues in places but that's all part of the charm. All you need to add is a glass of port and a comfy chair!
If you can get one a worthy addition to the caving bookshelf.
