I hesitate to volunteer other people when I'm unable to help myself on this occasion - but it struck me that it might be worth contacting the Crewe CPC directly; they're a very active club, based around Sandbach - and often caving in the Peak District. I always found their members to be extremely helpful. Just a thought.
