Caves with exposed rigging/traverses?

If exposure was what people were after, and lucky enough for prolonged dry weather, then GG main shaft would surely give some exposure? (Not had chance to do that one myself)
I'll second this. If it's true exposure while rigging traverses that you're after, then anchors 6-10 on the CNCC topo for Main Shaft will take some beating. You don't even need to wait for drought conditions because you can stop a few metres down, turn around and then derig for double the fun!

Always felt that the traverse in jingling had some decent exposure. Think it still being in daylight above the main drop is what does it
Being slippery in damp conditions, and with a high first bolt, adds to this I think :P

I seem to remember Hull Pot being quite exposed as well, possibly for similar reasons? (rigging is not super hard but you go straight over an edge to start and are very aware at all times that there is a big hole below you).

Will also add to previous comments that GG main shaft isn't hard to rig but very exposed :)

Another vote for Rat hole. The traverse with the pendulum swing is something else..that leaves you wondering HTF it was rigged and more to the point, what it's attached to. Langcliffe knows exactly how it was rigged and by who😁👍.

I think it’s been mentioned but the blank wall traverse in new rift that drops into Coates cavern is fairly exposed from memory.

You could try to find the spit line across from the goblin route in sell gill to the London Bridge false floor, I suspect that is going to be quite nerve wracking.

Big Pitch in Black Shiver gives a great sense of your insignificance and is part of a smart trip as well - Lovely once the weather warms and you can get more involved in the water.
I love black dub and the big pitch both of which are atmospheric for different reasons

Halfway down Black Rift, with the gloom swallowing your light up and down, you feel like you're falling through space. Amazing place

Re-read the description of rat hole... sounds very ermmm... "interesting".
Added to my to-do list, although my legs might not be long enough?

This is giving me great memories of dangle and spin! Need to get fit and stop faffing

The traverse from Meccano Passage to Waterfall Pitch head needs bolting in Knotlow...

I'm 5'6'' on a good day so I never had a chance.
But I remember thinking that nobody under about 7' tall would really be able to straddle it.

When given the chance to do something so unique as the “pendulum” I didn’t even try bridging it, swing for me everytime (whilst tied in to my own rigging rope) 😃

Surprised no one has suggested the direct descent of Alum Pot main shaft. The rebelay on the lip of the 60m freehang is certainly up there on my list of exposed situations. An exhilarating place to contemplate the void beneath you..... And in daylight as well.
Also slightly surprised it wasn't mentioned earlier for exposure, chatting about it in the pub last night and everyone who'd rigged it had the same to say about it being a fear inducing place. Looking down into the cloud at the boulders and an audiance in the window makes it a lonely place.
