Just a quick note to ask people to stay away from Craftsmans Pot until further notice as work is currently being done to unblock and stabilise the entrance series, where there has been a major slump recently. Work should be completed by the end of the next weekend (all being well), but will post more info on here...

you mean the slump from the aven just after the muddy pool? when we did it last year the climb out of the rift into the aven was very tricky not at all how i remember it being.

Aye, thats the one. Had a club meet in there at the end of february and found that the way on was completely blocked by fill coming down from that small aven. Was fine on my last trip, back in 2006, but even then i remember looking at it and thinking it might be a future problem. Once we've finished it should no longer be a problem though. Will post info on here when we're done

when we did it there was only a body sized hole to go through from the aven.
