Hi all. May be doing a trip to this cave on Wed. I'm aware it's one of the worst offenders for bad air. Last updates I can find go back to August 2011. Was wondering if anyone had been there over the last few weeks. Wondering if all the recent downpours will have caused a wash in  of cow muck etc

The winter (wetter) period is usually the best time to visit & it's pretty wintery at the moment! Not that I've been there recently.

Hi

I was down there a couple of months ago and the air was fine.  The recent rain, wind and sheep activity (removal of much of the surrounding vegitation) should help keep the air ok.

what's causing the bad air in Cuckoo ?

Thanks for the info, ended up in Eastwater instead so can't report back on air quality. Hope to visit there sometime soon though.
