This is a reference to the new colour scheme at the Chapel (the TSG hut in Castleton).

However my ropes are now washing machine fresh and ready for action :D
Should I be using a steel krab for connecting my STOP to my mallion or is a normal one fine?

A "normal" alloy screwgate krab is fine for your Stop.

Steel krabs are stronger but weigh a lot more and the strength of the alloy krab is MUCH more than the strength of the Stop itself. The application in which steel krabs are recommended is for braking krabs as steel is more resistant to wear from the rope than alloy.

re: krab for STOP - Thanks.. I dont normally use a breaking krab unless its a fast rope, someone elses rope, looking a big shiny, slippery etc and feel fine doing that.

I dont like that girly pink, I'll stick to Pindale thanks ;)

Aye!
Its a very nice pink!

I wouldn't use a steel krab as it will wear your stop attachment, mine is ally and an oval as the stop sits better than on a D.
