It's actually more difficult to sue in America, and much more expensive. In England, claimants can get conditional fee agreements, which reduce their risk enormously. I don't think Musk would be able to defend a libel action in England. In America he might bring some rubbish first amendment (free speech) argument.

Not really. Not the smartest move for the CEO of a couple of very prominent companies with regards to shareholders and his perceived image etc, but having a joint isn't, in and of itself, something to bat eyelids about.

I'm sure his personality is far more of a root cause for his outbursts.

4.5+ million views in two days! 40+ thousand comments! The vast majority positive in favour of Musk. I definitely reckon you guys should keep this thread going, you may well succeed in bringing this guy down for good.

As ever a very entertaining podcast from Joe. I recommend having a listen, like me you may well conclude that a trifling of social tourettes ain't gonna change a goddamn thing about this guy's continued dominance.

I don't agree with what he said, but the point I was trying to make earlier is, giving this guy a piece of your mind could never equal being labeled a pedo by the worlds media.

Pathetic? No I don't think so. I think the nature of many of the threads on this forum are pathetic, especially this one. Some of you are way too aggressive in your stance, especially relating to those who disagree. Who cares! Stop getting your panties in a twist over nothing. At what point do you think any one of our club wish to "be taken seriously". Why on earth would we want to? Our "constitution" makes a total mockery of serious. We go caving to have fun, We don't have a club to have AGM's, or officers, or to piss around with procedural crap.

Opinions are like hypotheses - some are just old, outdated and wrong.

While I care about matters such as access, I haven't, and wouldn't, stand there and demand I be "taken seriously" like a child having a tantrum. People do that anyway, when the matter or debate warrants it. The name of my club hardly matters. Now, gol play elsewhere with your strawman arguments.
