Cue the bunny story:

One of our lady members, with an ample "frontage" once brought a bunny out of St Catherine's inside her wetsuit. On being released, it promptly set off back down teh hole. We reckoned it enjoyed the experience & wanted another go!

WBCRT did a calf rescue in Mid Wales a few years ago from a old mine. Best part was when the Mrs Cow heard Baby cow when it was suspended on the Manitou telescopic fork, (there's ingenuity for you), and tried to join it. Quite exciting for a shortwhile.

Clive and myself rescued a sheep from beyond a sump a few years ago! :halo:

If Aqua mole Jim is the same Jim I think it is ... then that is a very funny story...!!

Seems like there's plenty of scope here for a TV series on 'Animal Rescues'...
There are similar programs that air on UK-TV and UK-TV Documentary late at night.
Hauling sheep and cows out of caves or up mine-shafts could make for entertaining viewing.

I once rescured five tiny frogs, one big toad and one newt from Robin's Shaft in Derbyshire.  I stuffed them in my neoprene glove and put the top of the glove in my mouth, so there wasn't any squassage.  Made prussiking interesting though and they were very glad to get out again!!  :)

Last year I rescued a frog from Starting Handle Hole, making use of a daren drum to carry it so no chance of squashage in there.
