Where's the fun in that??

You're right though, done to death in other threads and other forums, many many times over!

Now, how about banning Mars Bars from caves, the number of times I've found one carelessly abandoned is shocking, they have feelings you know.

Iwas just posting the link so peoples views are properly considered. We had a row last time, and it just gets boring.

"I don't think there is a place for off-roaders in the peak" is an opinion, which was emphasized by the addition of "That's my view".

"There is no place for off-roaders in the peak" is a provocative statement.

There is a significant difference between the two.

I'm definitely going to fill it in now, as your view is completely at odds with mine.

Chris.

Leaving aside the question of whether the team involved are idiots, how exactly would you like them to come up with a policy on land use? Would you prefer there to be no policy whatsoever and make it a free for all or would you want restrictions to balance the various interests involved? If so how would you propose they determine that policy?

Knowing that OG is such a considerate, thoughtful, well=meaning chap, I volunteer him for the role - would be a hell of a lot cheaper!

Having done the survey, it seems that DCC are taking a very sensible and pragmatic approach. I hope they are successful.

In which case I stand corrected.

It wasn't a provocative statement it was a provocative opinion.

Anything to keep the pedant police happy.....

Do we need a policy statement? Really?
the bylaws and access already in place is 'at the right price' for me.
