Phaetons have very bad press amongst a certain group...which matt happens to be part of! Repeated failings and shitty support from the company.

Yeah, there is water in both "ends" of it. Quite depressing really as its done me well.

I alternate between a Fellows Trigon (and belt mounted arsenal of batteries) and a Scurion 1500. It seems the ES are a bit undergunned battery wise. The Scurion isn't really powerful enough to take good photos with my old Nikon AW130 rugged camera, but the fellows was great. (On beam mode - which is not overly beamy, which is good)

Tell me if I am wrong.

Do I need to go to Specsavers?

So in the form I have to fill in I enter under "Content" (the main message field) "Please, I would like to buy a lamp"?
It probably is my fault as I expect to see "Add to basket" or similar, I can also perceive a difficulty in not knowing the price I have to pay which could be a problem with PayPal who usually require a figure.
royfellows said:I get a lot of kind praise for my lamps but have to add that the gentleman needs a dive lamp which do not make.
Mine are IP67 which is a miserable 1 metre, and thats water as well, you know, the stuff that comes out of a tap. The switches dont take kindly to sulphuric acid, it corrodes the lamp as well.
(Insider joke)
EDIT
The insider joke is some mine explorers, I worry for them never mind the lamp
