Went to the in laws for their diamond wedding and while there we went into an old mine nearby
it has been shut since about ww1 but is still solid
by a air shaft that has been filled with bricks
some bits were wet, it was the water that caused the mine to shut
there were air doors and walls as well as curtains to help the air flow
some timbers were getting a bit squashed
or just droopy!
unknown thing
the roof was very good but the rails and wood werent!
some little stals growing
some bits had dried out leaving mud cracks
another prop rotted away
popcorn rust on a roof support
brick pillar built for horses but cut out for using a loco
typical passage
