It's wet out there!

Buxton had 28mm of rainfall today, that's over an inch - could be the first flood of the season. Be interesting to see how it affects everything. Should improve diving conditions Pitlamp!

I went to look at Slop Moll at about 10:30am this morning. The cave resurgence was still clear and fairly low but Slop Moll and Russett Well were well up and a good muddy brown. Water was about 3'6" deep coming out of Slop Moll.

Tony at the cave said he thought it would stay high until the weekend even if there wasn't much more rain. It continued to piss down until lunchtime and then has been dry and fairly sunny this afternoon, although also fairly cold and windy.
