Hello everyone,

So Leica camera are very pretty and pretty expensive but are they any good underground?  Will I be wasting my cash if I buy one??

Buying Leicas is not cheap. I know one caver who has (had?) one and it was a beautiful piece of kit to use, digital M9, but I'm not sure I'd ever trust anything of that cost underground.

Bargain. Now where's that miserable mud mire that needs a few photographs taking to record the efforts of the diggers...  :blink:

Try Panasonic versions of Leica (can find often same camera different name different software but same glass/build)
This blog post I just wrote might help? I specialize in cave photog with little gear and small cameras. Sure you can go mega...I go small and inexpensive.
