Which borders do you mean?

But yeah, I'll probably do something that's not just this standard style after the release of SMF 1.1 final...

its a bugger to log in when your password is reset and you have to go through the rigmarole of getting the e-mail etc to get back in

however i do like the changes you've made :jaw: :goodidea:

I've set it on purpose to ask for email re-verification when you change your password. Handy if you ever accidentally leave yourself logged in to a PC and then somebody else accesses your profile and changes your password to their one.

One other thing it's worth mentioning is that you can set your own "strapline" in your profile - that's the thingy just under your username and above your avatar....

I've not set the ranks/*'s up yet mind.

Wow! Look at all those smileys!
This one would have come in handy (pardon the pun) for the digging at Goatchurch thread....  :wank:

Agreed Chris  ::)  but what do we have to do to update the link from our site ?  :-\  or is that what you are doing?  :-[ sorry impatient me  :)  Bubba  you have to scroll down a bit to above the first photo

Hmm..  Looks good!  :great:

Had a bit of a shock, though.  Couldn't log in at first (08:45 China time, 01.45 BST) and wondered if something I posted earlier meant that the bamboo curtain had come down!

And I can see lots more smileys now!  ;)

Must see about getting my avatar re-uploaded...

Step *away* from the smileys

Yes, you need to change this:

http://ukcaving.com/board/viewforum.php?f=35

to this:

http://ukcaving.com/board/index.php/board,35.0.html

And that'll sort it out...

New board has links at the bottom for W3C validation. The pages the new board software produces fail both tests. Not good.

:guilty:

What about the RSS feed - is there a new URL? is there still an RSS feed?

I don't use an aggregator but sites like www.darencilau.co.uk had a goof scrolling feed from here. When the guest access went that just had the posts only visitors could see. If guest access is back will these scrolling feeds work?

That is a bit crap, but then this software is a release candidate - hopefully when the final version is released this will have been fixed. Some of the errors are down to content though, eg the "&" in forum titles.

Interestingly, the darencilau site is using the Joomla CMS, which this site will be moved on to in the future - it integrates nicely with the forum software too :)

The RSS feeds have changed and are actually now much more powerful - Instead of typing it all out here, please see the first post in this topic:

Bubba, just remember the quote:

You can please all of the people some of the time
You can please some of the people all of the time
But you can't please cavers, ever. Period.

cool - I think it was mainly the big draw dropper one that caused the whole set to look to big.

Just found out that apparantly these errors will be fixed in the final release.
