No Chard at all is too much for me. It is the highest town in Somerset you know. Still the Glanvill has a cosy nest on the outskirts. Must rush.
Meeting him just after nine as its the Tuesday Diggers day out.

Clarification

Drop off for Hard Copy Prints (max A4 size) can be posted to or delivered to either:
Peter GlanVill
The Gables,
Touchstone Close,
Chard,
TA20 1QZ
Pete's email is:  pglanv at aol dot com
or
Martin Grass
email first please:  m dot grass at btinternet dot com

Contact detail for both are in Decent page 3
Please do not drop prints off at Gough's Cave, (Cheddar Gorge & Caves) as there is no agreed process of how to get them to the organising committee.

Printing
If you are not printing your own images then after the submission date - Sunday 20th May 2018 at Midnight. - we will go to our sponsor DH James Ltd Photographic Suppliers of Wells and get them all printed at the same time at a nominal fee which we will ask the entrant for. Previously ?4 per print. (depends on numbers)
The discounted price is for the bulk printing of photo's not individual prints. Apologies if anyone misunderstood this. Please do use them yourself but expect to pay the normal prices as displayed.

The question from ZombieCake - is hand tinting allowed?  Yes as I am sure the digital prints will be 'enhanced' by software either in the camera or separate application.
As The Old Ruminator pointed out on the https://ukcaving.com/board/index.php?topic=23278.0 thread what one person likes is not always someone else's cup of tea  :alien:

Hope I have answered all of your questions so far  ;)

i'd be interested in a photography workshop. Mendip or S Wales would be good :)

before that i should probably get round to getting a case and a new lens for it. Can anyone suggest a suitable general purpose/cave lens for a Nikon that i might be able to find on fleabay for not a huge amount of money

Getting on with something a bit different for the exhibition. Had to have the job done in Berlin but so far it looks good to me.

I've been working on mine too.. It looks magnificent!  ;)

Short notice I know, but a few of us (Assuming the beast from the east 3 allows ;) ) will be heading up to the Dales over the easter weekend.

I will be doing trips with Dudley CC but we are small groups so if any other photographers fancied coming along you'd be more than welcome.
We haven't really planned anything yet but our trips are mostly around 6hrs with a couple of photos en route.

If interested send me a message any time up to Thursday, after this I may or may not have signal.

I gave Peter my miserable quota yesterday. I dont think he has had any more as yet so yes BUMP. He will be away for the next week if you get no reply from him. My " exhibition piece" is off for mounting. I hope there will be room for it.

So might I which all good photographers must know is intolerable.

What a shame we have so few . We have a great chance to show the public the hidden wonders of Mendip at a new venue at Cheddar. If folk worry about the competitive side just think of it as an exhibition. Same old story. Use it or lose it.

Some real cavers somewhere on Mendip.
