mid week trip ideas?

Just in case I've forgotten somewhere obvious - looking for a midweek trip suggestions, after work back in time for last orders!

We're SRT confident, and have done P8, Giants, O-K-H mines all several times. Based in manchester the Dales are a bit far for midweek. JH and Titan a bit too long for after work, Layby and Streaks too grotty to do again, Owl and Jug holes a bit too short.

Any other thoughts?

We cave mid-week alot and making last orders is always a priority...

Worthwhile trips to consider that we've done include...

Winnats (the non srt stuff)
Rowter
Hungerhill
Sidetrack
The Gentlewomans to Youds level through trip
Eyam Dale House Cave

Stoney Mid.  Carlswark/Merlin's/Eyam House etc.

Fast road after New Mills etc. - lots of watering holes.

Oxlow
Nettle
More stuff in Giants (Ghost Rift, East Canal)
Titan Streamway (only halfway down Titan)
Sidetrack and Gautries if you don't mind crawling

Suspect the;

"The Gentlewomans to Youds level through trip"

Is not a good idea as an 'after work' evening trip unless you know it, and want to be out before closing! (Not the SRT, just the variation in the small bits?)

Water Icicle Close Cavern, simple 100 foot entrance shaft, nice big passages, and fluorescent stals (take a flash gun and try it), well worth the hour it takes (this not including the new gated bit).

Actually, the even newer bits are not gated at all and definitely worth a look.

Paul is the gate off the old new bits now then? Where K is digging?

No, I'm talking about the newer bit beyond the Great Rift.

Thanks everyone there's some good suggestions there to keep us amused.

I had forgotten about WI despite only being there a few weeks back. Yes the 2012 extensions are great - excellent work. Are the 2009 bits still being studied? Or can the gate finally be removed?

Work is continuing, geologists were there the weekend before last gathering more samples for analysis.
