If Matlock isn't too far for you, some nice mines for evening trips (other than GW to Youds) eg Silver Eye, Ball Eye, Old Gells, Jacobs Dream, Snake Mine etc. Mostly no srt required. AR, Zomjon, Old Git on here know about access to Snake Mine. All easy stuff (usual mine hazards) but worth a poke.
