Like everyone else I feel its time that I ran this thread down. So I will stop at 1,500. I was tempted to put the most recent of my photos here but possibly wisely ran it as a seperate thread.

So starting the run in to 1,500.

Of course the big problem is remembering what I have already posted.

Gorgive the focus here with super macro. These are almost as fine as horsehair.

I do like these though its hard to get them right. Half the image is underwater, half above. An encrusted straw inside a basin. Found only by chance so never seen before.

Learning the trade perhaps.

There now I have gone past 1,500. Yesterdays were stop and go. Nothing took more than a minute or two to set up. Skyray torch, Yongnuo slave and the old up TG 2. I did not use the camera flash exclusion box as back scatter was minimal.

So as far as images are concerned this thread has ended. Any more images will be on new threads. Thanks to my loyal fan club for the support. In a way its been a journey for me as well Looking back to the 1960's. Still thankful at 72 I can still get down a cave ( albiet a short one ). I now have to keep paying the hosting service the yearly fee. When I am gone I guess the thread will be too. Hopefully a few more years ---

Dont forget that camera -
