Are you not joining Tom ?

I am looking forward to putting faces to names .
Disappointed not to....
When I saw the original line up of proposed events (haven't paid attention if changed or not) some of the Snailbeach trips in particular looked absolutely fantastic. I'm definitely up for a good SRT through trip (or even there and backs), Puls I'd be keen to meet some of the folks on this site actually underground - not just via a keyboard.

Anyway, hope you all enjoy NAMHO 2021

Just got back after a really excellent weekend.  The Shropshire guys managed to pull off a great event in spite of trying conditions.

Can't wait for next year's NAMHO which is based on the North York Moors.

I will be loading up my Landie tomorrow.

I also will be the only attendee who has got a haircut and had a shave especially for the event.

Chris.

Having seen (and heard)  your creation I am now suffering extreme Landy envy (although for some strange reason not haircut and shave envy).

;)  Thanks!  On the down side, I have to repair the indicator switch, and managed 20mpg on average. You no doubt have no repairs and have managed a slightly more economic trip.

An excellent weekend, very well run, and some great mines on offer. The only missing piece was the food / beer social, but we can hardly blame that on the organisers!  And it was great to catch up with friends old and new.

Chris.

Owning a landrover and being a caver seems a cliche to me, a bit like having a beard, eating frie-ups and wearing camouflage trousers; is this what being a caver still is in the C21st, or was that last century mostly?

Just another vote of thanks to the organisers for enabling the event to go ahead. I had a great time until unfortunately having to head home on Saturday afternoon due to illness of a family member (not covid related!).

Apologies for not managing to meet up with many of you as I'd hoped.

I wondered why I hadn't seen you again after you had arrived. I hope your family member is on the mend

I didn't see anyone wearing camouflage trousers - but then again I suppose that's the point

NAMHO is for mine explorers. There are a huge number of beards, and a fair number of Land Rovers.

Chris.
