Just spoken to Cris Ebbs and he has put a new website (about a week ago), lots of good info on Halkyn mountain, Milwr tunnel- including current state of play with regard to access. Well worth a Visit

Did the trip to Powells Lode cavern and Pilkingtons Limestone workings last year, a fantastic, very full day out. The mind boggles at the work the Grosevnor CC have done in the tunnel/mine and their guide for our day was superb..

I saw the note re: access at the moment, hope that gets lifted soon as id love a trip in to the older workings
