    'The next thing was to purchase a generator and pump. The plan being to test pumping out the flooded bedding in Lofthouse pot and fill HUTWP. The latter in a vain hope of creating water pressure to open up the choked bedding'.

Cave Science Symposium
Our annual cave science symposium will be an online event this year, taking place via Zoom on Saturday 14 November. Annual General Meeting
The BCRA AGM will be on 14 November at midday during the annual Cave Science Meeting which, this year, will be hosted via Zoom. The agenda has now been finalised and is available at http://bcra.org.uk/agm/ . Any member wishing to attend the AGM is advised to familiarise themself with Zoom in advance. Information is contained in the AGM notice. Please note that you should have your BCA or BCRA membership card to hand during the meeting.

BCRA Review 2019: now in press
The BCRA Review 2019 is now in press. This will be available online by the end of October. We send paper copies to those of our member clubs who opt to receive C&KS on paper, and to our journal exchange partners world-wide. If anyone else would like a paper copy, you can order one at http://bcra.org.uk/order.html. The cost is GBP 6.25 plus GBP 1.50 postage. BCRA members, quoting their online access code, can obtain a 20% discount on the cost of the journal. Even if you wish to pay by cheque, please complete an online order form first.
