NRW have announced an "intention not to prepare" environmental statements for works as part of the NWR Metal Mines Project - Flow Gauging and Monitoring Structures at the following sites:

- Castell Mine: installation of a flow monitoring structure (weir box) on a lagoon overflow at SN 77449 81256
- Glog Fach Mine: installation of a flow monitoring structure (trapezoidal flume) located in close proximity to Western Shaft at SN 74544 70759
- Level Fawr Adit Portal: installation of a flow monitoring structure located in close proximity to the adit portal within the garden of the Count House SN 73923 72197
- Nantiago Mine: installation of two flow monitoring structures (data loggers) located at Nantiago Mine Open Stope at SN 82480 86403 and downstream of the Nantiago Mine at SN 82597 85935
- Nantygwrdy Mine: installation of a flow monitoring structure (v-notch weir) at Nantygwrdy Adit SN 82765 85091
